This Nautical-inspired delivery incorporates elements of historical surplus garments and sailing-inspired stripes worn by mates and pilots who work on cargo ships and passenger vessels on the high seas.  Rugged utility pieces and surplus denim are mixed with styles inspired by the uniforms of naval officers and cabled sweaters inspired by those first worn by fisherman on the Aran islands off the west coast of Ireland.  Everything is washed and faded for a salt- and sun-faded finish characteristic of the clothing worn by those who work on or near the sea.

TONIGHT!

TONIGHT!

I love when this dude calls out the guitar solo during the song.

RRL: Irish Country

The people and landscape of the rugged western coast of Ireland in the 1930s and ’40s serve as the inspiration for this delivery.  Rustic tweeds and corduroys are worn with woll trousers and broadcloth dress shirts to recreate the looks of Irish farmers in their Sunday best.  These styles are mixed with oilcloth coats, hand-knit Aran sweaters and buckle-back pants—hard-wearing, utilitarian styles that were essential for Irish men who worked in the fields or at sea.
